Academic support
Whether you need academic support, preparation for exams, building confidence or tutoring to bridge the gap between lost learning, we will take time to understand your requirements and select the right tutor for your child. We pride ourselves in providing personal and engaging learning experiences to all of our students.
Key Stage 1 & 2

Our tutors are carefully selected to be positive role models and completely embed the right learning foundations. Instilling this at an early age and helping a student develop a love for learning, will result in them having a more confident approach to those early exams, albeit Year 6 SATs, the 11 plus or entrance examinations. Our tutors understand the requirements for each exam and will help students to develop skills to excel.
Key Stage 3 & 4

What better way to uncover academic passions than to embed great learning habits for the future. GCSEs are a major milestone for students and can sometimes be quite a daunting and worry step as they transition into the world of autonomous learning. Our tutors will support in building the right mindset and approach - revision skills, time management, creative and critical thinking. All of which is a great basis for exam success and beyond. Our tutors will challenge students to ensure that there is a deeper understanding in each subject and support them through their examination period.
Key Stage 5

Post-16 studies are an exciting time where students can delve more deeply into subjects and widen their learning around their passions. Some students benefit from additional support and others require a little extra work to challenge them further taking them out of their comfort zone. Our tutors will also help students understand the syllabus they are studying, help with essay writing and exam preparation and technique. It is important that we provide tutors who work closely with their students, building a positive and collaborative relationship.

Home Schooling

Occasionally, students need a break from mainstream education, to re-connect, develop their confidence and find their strengths. For some, it may be due to other challenges and a school environment is just not the right fit. Firstly, if you are considering homeschooling your child, it is important to gather the right information from your local council before you start. Once you have decided that this is the right choice for your child, we’d love to discuss how we can help your family's learning journey.
Preparing for exams​
Thinking about exam revision sooner rather than later can positively affect performance and grades. With exams starting in May, students should start thinking about their revision in January. We recognise that everyone is different and schedules vary so we will work with you to help minimise stress and increase confidence before the exams start.
